Carbon

Beach: 

Deserted black sand beach with rocky shore.  Stunning beach to explore for adults and kids of all ages.  Can be good for snokeling and a great spot for a secluded picnic!

There are no services in Carbon, so you will need to bring your own snorkel equipment (or rent it before hand) snacks & drinks.

To drive take the beach road that begins at Hotel Las Tortugas.  This road curves away from the beach and then turns back towards the beach at the entrance to Playa Ventanas.  Park at the last clearing before the broken down bridge.  From there you can walk about 5 minutes along the beach or on the path behind the beach.

                                                                                                              You can also walk north along the beach (in the opposite direction to Tamarindo).  About one hour from Palm Beach Estates, about half an hour from RipJack Inn.  You cannot not walk the last stretch along the beach during high tide.
